The Great Promise of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

"The Devotion to the Five First Saturdays"
(The Great Promise of the Immaculate Heart of Mary)

Blessed Virgin Mary's words (Our Lady of Fatima) to Sr. Lucia Dos Santos:

"...I promise to assist at the hour of death, with the graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, shall confess, receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary, and keep me company for fifteen minutes, while meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me."

"...I will take Jacinta and Francisco shortly; but you will stay here for some time to come. Jesus wants to use you to make Me known and loved. He wishes to establish the devotion to My Immaculate Heart throughout the world. I promise salvation to whoever embraces it; these souls will be dear to God, like flowers put by Me to adorn his throne."

Prayer for the souls of purgatory

[Excerpt from the Book "The Victorious Queen of the Word" by Sor Maria Natalia Magdolna]

One night Jesus requested to me that I pray for the souls of Purgatory.  It was 4:30 a.m.  and I wanted to finish writing my diary, when Jesus said to me:

- My daughter, even when I respect your fatigue, I want to ask you not to go to sleep until you put in writing the state of suffering of the souls of purgatory.  I want that my priest brothers unite in the prayer crusade in favor of the souls that suffer in purgatory.   Now I want to alleviate those that during life frequently asked Me and my Mother, in prayer, to have mercy on them at the moment of death and when they were in the place of suffering.

Jesus then took me to a place so large that I could not see the end of it.  Although the place was dark, the souls there seemed to be calmed.  There were an endless number of souls: they wore black clothes and they were close to each other.  All seemed immovable, quiet, and very sad.  Upon seeing them in this state, I almost became heart broken.  I knew that these souls did not receive aid from anybody on Earth, neither prayer, nor sacrifices.  They knew that the hour of liberation had not arrived yet, but hope that it would not take very long.

After that experience, Jesus took me to another similar place.  There the souls shivered in their black robes.  But when they saw me enter with Jesus, all began to revolt.  I had my rosary in my hands to pray for them.  When they saw the rosary, they all began to shout: "Pray for me, dear sister, pray for me" trying to superpose their voices above each other, soliciting my prayers, like a cloud of bees.  Although all shouted at the same time, I could distinguish the voice of each one.  I recognized many among them, people whom I knew when they were on Earth.  I also saw some nuns of other orders and of mine.  I was frightened when a mother superior turned around towards me and humbly requested me to pray for her.

After this, a nun, well-known by me, with her hands together and touching my rosary, she begged:  "For me, me", while a strange perspiration, I do not know if from the soul or from the body, she pleaded to me: "For me, me", while a strange sweat, I do not know if in the soul or the body, but it ran all over her.

Later Jesus took me to a third place, where there was an endless number of nuns, standing and without movement, while a strong sweat ran over them.  They turned toward me and they pleaded to me that I pray the rosary for them.  At that place, there was light.  I thought: "Why is it that they are requesting me to pray the rosary for them?"  Then Jesus showed a rosary to me, wherein instead of beads there were flowers and in each flower I saw shine a drop of the Blood of Jesus.

When we pray the rosary, the drops of the Blood of Jesus fall on the person for whom we offer it.  The souls of purgatory continuously implore for the saving Blood of Jesus.

The Blessed Virgin and St. Michael the Archangel visiting Purgatory

Excerpt from the Book "An Unpublished Manuscript of Purgatory"

1879, Retreat in September. We see St. Michael as we see the angels. He has no body. He comes to get the souls that have finished their purification. It is he who conducts them to Heaven. He is among the Seraphim as Monsignor said. He is the highest angel in Heaven. Our own Guardian Angels come to see us but St. Michael is far more beautiful than they are. As to the Blessed Virgin, we see her in the body. She comes to Purgatory on her feasts and she goes back to Heaven with many souls. While she is with us we do not suffer. St. Michael accompanies her. When he comes alone, we suffer as usual. When I spoke to you of the great and the second Purgatory, it was to try to make you understand that there are different stages in Purgatory. Thus I call that stage of Purgatory great or worst where the most guilty souls are, and where I stayed for two years without being able to give a sign of the torments I was suffering. The year when you heard me groaning, when I began to speak to you, I was still in the same place.

"Hail Mary"

"One Hail Mary well said fills the heart of Our Lady with delight and obtains for us indescribably great graces. One Hail Mary well said gives us more graces than a thousand thoughtlessly said."

Will you Praise God by honoring Our Lady and pray one Hail Mary today? Just one my friend, just "one" Hail Mary "devoutly said..." God Bless you!

Note: Dear friends I encourage you to please pray one “Hail Mary” every time you see this post. So you will obtain great graces from Our Lord through the intercession of our Blessed Mother, who is the channel of Divine Graces. You never know how happy she is for that "single Hail Mary devoutly prayed in her honour".

God Bless you All!

--- A Testimony ---

Blessed Alan says that a nun who had always had a great devotion to the Holy Rosary appeared after death to one of her sisters in religion and said to her: "If I were allowed to go back into my body, to have the chance of saying just one single Hail Mary - even if I said it quickly and without great fervor - I would gladly go through the sufferings that I had during my last illness all over again, in order to gain the merit of this prayer." This is all the more compelling because she had been bedridden and had suffered agonizing pains for several years before she died.

The proof of love is in the works

"The proof of love is in the works. Where love exists, it works great things. But when it ceases to act, it ceases to exist." - Pope St. Gregory the Great

She will like it now - by Fr. Antonio

It was Wednesday June 5, 2002, when I received a call on my pager.
- “Father Antonio, there is a woman who is dying here at the hospital in Ann Arbor. Her family is asking for a Catholic priest to come and give her the last sacrament. Can you please come?”

Sure. It would be the first experience to anoint someone after 10 months of priesthood. My ministry as a priest was more focused on giving Jesus Christ to His people through the Eucharist (saying Masses) and the Sacrament of Reconciliation (hearing confessions). I was also offering spiritual direction to a good number of people. I drove 15 minutes from home. I arrived at the hospital and entered the room.

There was a woman lying in her bed, dying. Her eyes were closed. Her family was gathered around her: the husband, the sons & their wives. They were comforting each other. I opened the book of prayers and prepared the oil. We prayed. I anointed the woman. After the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, I asked the family to pray with me the rosary. I believe that the presence of Mary can give great comfort for the woman’s soul.
The husband approached me as if he was embarrassed. He whispered saying:
- “Father, my wife never believed in rosaries. She never prayed the rosary. She never liked it.”
- “She will like it now,” I said it, with my Lebanese accent and a Maronite spirit.
We started praying the rosary. When we reached the 4th sorrowful mystery, the woman opened her eyes. The sons approached their mother to see what was going on. They were crying, amazed.

At the end of the Rosary, I asked the sons:
- “What did you see?”
- “Her eyes were filled with peace,” one of her sons answered.
I knew that Mary was present. I knew that she comforted that woman. It didn’t matter whether that woman prayed the rosary in her life or not, whether she liked it or not. It doesn’t matter for Mary for she is a mother not a judge. Mary, who was present under the cross at the moment of Christ’s death, is also present at the moment of our death. This is why we pray: Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Revelation of Christ to St. Mechtilde

He who is in the habit of devoutly hearing holy Mass shall in death be consoled by the presence of the angels and saints, his advocates, who shall bravely defend him from all the snares of infernal spirits.

My own experience about the "Souls in Purgatory" - Anonymous

[English]
Easter Sunday, Mass has ended and I am going to light some candles for all the souls in purgatory. I've been doing this for quite a long time but I can't remember when did I started offering candles and prayers for them.

After lighting the candles I began to pray, 1 Our Father... 3 Hail Mary's... 1 Glory be and the Fatima Prayer. Then I offered them up to our Heavenly Mother so she can used them and help the holy souls, who are so long forgotten and suffering the most in purgatory.

During prayer, I heard a soft peaceful voice who said: "On the day of the Last Judgement God will recall this moment in your life, on how much you have love us". I was surprised at first but afterwards peace reigned in my soul. Could it be "a soul in purgatory" expressing his gratitude? I really don't know but one thing is for sure, and all the saints have proved it, All those poor souls suffering in the prisons of purgatory love us and how they wanted all of us to be saved too.

But few people remember them. Few offer their prayers for them. If only people know how much they can pray for us. They would take the task of offering even a simple prayer everyday for their relief.

Sister Raquel’s "PRAYER AGAINST SATAN’S FORCES IN THE ‘FINAL WAR"

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

I, as God’s loyal servant, together with His people, proclaim Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Son of Mary and Lord of all circumstances and difficulties of today in the world. In the name of Jesus Christ, by the power of His blood and in the authority of His Word, given to me as a Christian, I bind and reject you, satan, our real enemy. I command you to depart from us. I seal the Philippines and the whole of humanity in the precious blood of JESUS CHRIST, the Way, the Truth and the Life.
I, together with God’s people, bind and reject all evil spirits in the air, wind, fire, water, under the water, in the netherworld, in the elements and in all satanic forces in nature. I bind and reject all spirits of division, disruption, fear, anger, anxiety, all spirits of unforgiveness, resentment, and disobedience to the laws of God and legitimate authorities. I bind and reject all interlocking evil spirits controlling all media programs, video games, unholy activities in the Internet, television, radio and every medium of communication.
Our real enemies are those satanic influences in our lives. Our victory against satan will come only when each one of us change our hearts, when we repent our ways. To repent means to become like JESUS CHRIST – when we obey the will of the Eternal Father; when we begin to glorify God in our thoughts, words and actions; when we look at ourselves before the holiness and humility of JESUS CHRIST, the Face of God in our midst. Then will the divine in our midst make satan depart.
In the name of JESUS CHRIST, I, together with God’s people, break and dissolve every disease, especially cancer, every evil wish, evil desire and evil intention, every evil curse and spell. I come in JESUS’ name against all satanic vows and control, mind control, and doubtful practices and teachngs. GET OUT OF OUR LIVES. OUT! OUT!

LORD JESUS CHRIST, BY THE POWER OF GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT, FILL US WITH THE SPIRIT OF PEACE, LOVE AND FORGIVENESS. HEAL EVERY HUMAN HEART WITH YOUR FORGIVING SPIRIT. GIVE EACH ONE OF US, YOUR CHILDREN, THE GIFTS OF JOY AND LAUGHTER AND THE ABILITY OF THE MIND, SO THAT EACH ONE OF US, REGARDLESS OF SEX AND RELIGION, MAY CONTINUE TO USE THESE GIFTS AS WE GIVE LOVING SERVICE TO OTHERS, THEREBY GLORIFYING OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN, WHO SAID, “THOSE WHO DO NOT STAND BY ME WILL FALL (BOOK OF AMOS) MAY THIS BE OUR GUIDE AS WE GO THROUGH OUR DAILY ACTIVITIES. THROUGH THE INTERCESSION OF MARY, MOTHER OF JESUS, AND ALL GOD’S SAINTS, WE PRAY THAT YOU DELIVER EACH ONE OF US FROM THE EVIL ONE. AMEN.

Father Syquia's prayers for Protection and Deliverance

Father Syquia's prayers for protection and deliverance:

Step 1: Prayer for Protection:

Jesus Crucified, cover me, my family, relatives, and friends and all our possessions with Your Precious Blood. (Recite three times)

Step 2. Prayer for Armor

I put on God's armor to resist the devil's tactics. I stand my ground with truth buckled around my waist and integrity for a breastplate. I carry the shield of faith to put out the burning arrows of the evil one. I accept salvation from God to be my helmet and receive the Word of God from the Spirit to use as a sword.

Step 3. Prayer for Deliverance (said forcefully)

In the Name of Jesus of Nazareth, through His tremendous power as God and through His most powerful and salvific Name, I rebuke, repudiate, bind and cast out all spirits not of the Holy Spirit. I command you, in the Name of Jesus, to depart right now from (state the person or place) and go immediately and directly to the foot of the Cross and never to return.

(Then pray this prayer to the Holy Spirit asking for assistance and His infilling):

O Most Holy Spirit, enter into the empty spaces left by these spirits and fill (state name of person or place) with Your Presence, love, and protection. Please do not allow these spirits to return.

Step 4. Prayer to the Angels.

(Make a personal prayer to the angels to stand guard and remain around the person or the place just delivered to seal them from future demonic influences)

Step 5. Prayer for Cleansing.

Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior by the power of the Holy Spirit, we pray that the cleansing power of the Most Precious Blood of Your Son come upon us right now. Purify us and wash us clean with the Blood of Jesus from the top of our heads down to the very soles of our feet. Let this Blood penetrate the very marrow of our bones to cleanse us from any entanglement from whatever spirit and refresh our bodies, souls, and spirits. And may the Sign of Your Holy Cross drive away all evil spirits from us. (Make the Sign of the Cross). In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Step 6. Prayer of Praise and Thanksgiving.

(Make a personal prayer of praise and thanksgiving to God)

Padre Pio and the souls in Purgatory

Padre Pio told this story to padre Anastasio. "One evening, while I was alone in choir to pray, I heard the rustle of a suit and I saw a young monk that stirred next to the High altar. It seemed that the young monk was dusting the candelabra and straightening the flower vases. I thought he was Padre Leone rearranging the altar, and, since it was supper time, I went to him and I told him: “Padre Leone, go to dine, this is not the time to dust and to straighten the altar”. But a voice, that was not Father Leone’s answered me”: “I am not Padre Leone”, “and who are you? “, I asked him. “I am a brother of yours that made the noviciate here. I was ordered to clean the altar during the year of the noviciate. Unfortunately many times I didn’t reverence Jesus while passing in front of the altar, thus causing the Holy Sacrament that was preserved in the tabernacle to be disrespected. For this serious carelessness, I am still in Purgatory. Now, God, with his endless goodness, sent me here so that you may quicken the time I will enjoy Paradise. Take care of me.” I believed to be generous to that suffering soul, so I exclaimed: “you will be in Paradise tomorrow morning, when I will celebrate Holy Mass”. That soul cried: “Cruel!” Then he wept and disappeared. That complaint produced in me a wound to the heart that I have felt and I will feel my whole life. In fact I would have been able to immediately send that soul to Heaven but I condemned him to remain another night in the flames of Purgatory."

St. Claude de la Colombiere on the "Holy Mass"

"God is more honoured by a single Mass than He could be by all the actions of angels and men together, however fervent and heroic they might be. Yet, how few hear Mass with the intention of giving God this sublime honour! How few think with joy on the glory a Mass gives to God. How few rejoice to possess the means of honouring Him as He deserves! . . . If we only knew the treasure we hold in our hands!

St. John Vianney on the Holy Mass

The Infinite Mass causes the whole heavenly court to rejoice. It alleviates the pain of the souls in purgatory. It draws down all types of blessings upon earth, and gives more glory to God than all the sufferings of all the martyrs together, more glory than the penances of all the saints, than all the tears shed by them since the beginning of the world and all that they may do till the end of time.

The Importance of Holy Mass

GRACES DERIVED FROM ASSISTING AT HOLY MASS

1. The Mass is Calvary continued.
2. Every Mass is worth as much as the sacrifice of Our Lord's life, sufferings and death.
3. Holy Mass is the most powerful atonement for your sins.
4. At the hour of death the Masses you have heard will be your greatest consolation.
5. Every Mass will go with you to judgement and plead for pardon.
6. At Mass you can diminish more or less temporal punishment due to your sins, according to your fervor.
7. Assisting devoutly at Holy Mass you render to the Sacred Humanity of Our Lord the greatest homage.
8. He supplies for many of your negligences and omissions.
9. He forgives the venial sins which you have not confessed. The power of Satan over you is diminished.
10. You afford the souls in Purgatory the greatest possible relief.
11. One Mass heard during your life will be of more benefit to you than many heard for you after your death.
12. You are preserved from dangers and misfortunes which otherwise might have befallen you. You shorten your stay in Purgatory.
13. Every Mass wins for you a higher degree of glory in Heaven.
14. You receive the priest's blessing which Our Lord ratifies in Heaven.
15. You kneel amidst a multitude of holy angels, who are present at the Adorable Sacrifice with reverential awe.
16. You are blessed in your temporal goods and affairs.

In eternity we shall fully realize that it was certainly worthwhile to have assisted at Holy Mass daily. Pray for priests that they may offer the Mass with holy love and reference.

St. Philomena

Despite many learned investigations, nothing has been discovered to throw light on the personal history of St. Philomena previous to the discovery of her relics in the Catacombs. Some of her ardent clients, however, emboldened by the sweet graciousness with which the dear Little Saint is accustomed to hear the prayers of her servants, besought her fervently to make known to them who she was and what she suffered for Jesus Christ. Their prayers were heard and the Saint has revealed to three of them, people living far apart and unknown to each other, the story of her life and martyrdom. These revelations, though of a private revelation, are nevertheless striking and carry with them no small weight of probability. The fact that they were made to three different persons and yet identical, is to say the least, a very extraordinary coincidence. Moreover, they tally with what is in keeping with the symbols that were found on her sarcophagus. These revelations have been widely published and the book containing them  given an Imprimatur by the Holy Office on December 21, 1833, to certify that nothing contained in it is harmful to the Faith or morals. We will only provide a small encapsulation of the revelations, as we prefer to encourage you to buy Fr. O' Sullivan's book from TAN BOOKS: HERE for the book and the poster image

St. Philomena was the daughter of the king of a small Grecian state and her mother was also of royal lineage. They were pagans who worshipped false gods. They had no children and prayed to these idols for a child. There was staying with them at the time a doctor from Rome, Publius, who was a Catholic and now a Saint, was touched by their "blindness" and inspired by the Holy Ghost, decided to speak to them about their false worship and tell them of the one true Catholic Faith. He assured them that their prayers would be heard if they embraced Catholicity. His fervent eloquence reached them, and aided by grace, they were finally Baptized. St. Philomena was born the following year on January 10th, and was named Lumena, or "Light," as she had been born in the light of the Faith, to which her parents were not most devoted. When she herself was Baptized they added to her name, to make Philomena, that is "Friend or Lover of the Light."

Her parents lavished every affection on her and she accompanied them to Rome in her 13th year, to plead for peace from war with the Emperor. The Emperor, while listening to the pleas of her father, kept looking at Philomena; he agreed to terms of peace, but only if Philomena would he is wife. her parents agreed to the request, but Philomena rejected the offer as she had already made a vow to Jesus Christ two years prior, a permanent vow of chastity. Her father tried to change her mind, but seeing her resolution, implore her more to agree to the marriage. The Emperor also renewed his intentions and while they were in Rome, he daily came to see her. Finally in a fit of fury, he had her chained in a dungeon. All through this ordeal her Divine Spouse supported her, as well as His Blessed Mother. This torment lasted for 37 days, when the Queen of Heaven appeared to the Saint, surrounded by a dazzling light, bearing her Divine Son in her arms, telling Philomena that she would be in the dungeon for three more days, saying she would leave on the 40th day of her sorrow, only to undergo a most cruel torture for the love of Jesus Christ, her Son. The Holy Virgin inspired her with courage and told her that she was so beloved by them both, not the least of which reasons why was that she bore the name of them both, Light, as the Sun for Christ, and the Moon for Mary. Our Lady promised the Saint that at the time of her martyrdom she would the Archangel Gabriel himself by her side as her protector against weakness.

She was bound to a pillar, and like Christ before her, she was savagely scourged. Seeing that she was one gaping, agonizing wound, the Emperor had her brought back to the [prison to die. Two bright Angels appeared and poured Heavenly balm on her wounds and she was cured. The Emperor was astonished. Because she still refused his blandishments, he was enraged and gave orders than an iron anchor should be attached to her neck and that she be thrown into the Tiber to drown. But Christ, once more to confound the tyrant, sent two more Angels to cut the cord of the anchor which fell to the bottom of the river and became embedded in the mud. Then the Angels brought her back to the bank without a single drop of water touching her garments. Several bystanders were converted. But Diocletian became more obstinate than ever, declared her a witch and ordered her pierced with arrows. Again Heaven saved her from the death planned for her. On hearing of this new miracle, the Emperor was so infuriated that he ordered the torture to be repeated until death came, but the arrows refused to leave the bow. So he had the arrows heated with flames from a furnace; again it was to no avail, for these last archers were slain by Heaven. More conversions occurred and the people began to show serious signs of disaffection towards the Emperor and even reverence for the Holy Faith. She was beheaded at last and ascended to glory in Heaven. It was 3 PM in the afternoon, of a Friday.

Prayer for Freedom from Curses

I place myself in the presence of Jesus Christ and submit to His Lordship. I "Put on God's armour so as to be able to resist the devil's tactics" (Ephesians 6:10-11). I stand my ground, "with truth buckled around my waist, and integrity for a breastplate..."(Ephesians 6:14). I carry the "shield of faith" to "put out the burning arrows of the evil one..."(Ephesians 6:16). I accept "salvation from God to be my helmet and receive the word of God from the Spirit to use as a sword" (Ephesians 6:17).
In the name of Jesus Christ crucified, died and risen, I bind all spirits of the air, the atmosphere, the water, the fire, the wind, the ground, the underground, and the netherworld. I also bind the influence of any lost or fallen soul who may be present, and all emissaries of the satanic headquarters or any coven of witches or warlocks or satan worshippers who may be present in some preter-natural way. I claim the blood of Jesus on the air and atmosphere, the water, the fire, the wind, the ground and their fruits all around us, the underground and nether world.
In the name of Jesus Christ I forbid every adversary mentioned to communicate with or help one another in any way, or to communicate with me, or to do anything at all except what I command in Jesus' name.
In the name of Jesus Christ I seal this place and all present and all family and associates of those present and their places and possessions and sources of supply in the blood of Jesus (Repeat three times).
In the name of Jesus Christ I forbid any lost spirits, covens, satanic groups or emissaries or any of their associates, subjects or superiors to harm or take revenge on me, my family and my associates, or cause harm or damage to anything we have.
In the name of Jesus Christ and by the merits of His Precious Blood, I break and dissolve every curse, hex, seal, spell, sorcery, bond, snare, trap, device, lie, stumbling block, obstacle, deception, diversion or distraction, spiritual chain or spiritual influence, also every disease of body, soul, mind or spirit placed upon us, or on this place, or on any of the persons, places and things mentioned, by any agent, or brought on us by our own mistakes or sins.(Repeat three times).
I now place the cross of Jesus Christ between myself and all generations in my family tree. I say in the name of Jesus Christ that there will be no direct communication between the generations. All communication will be filtered through the Precious Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Mary the Immaculate, clothe me in the light, power and energy of your faith. Father, please assign the angels and saints to assist me. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for being my Wisdom, my Justice, my Sanctification, my Redemption. I surrender to the ministry of Your Holy Spirit and receive Your truth concerning intergenerational healing.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the Beginning, is now, and ever shall be. Amen.
