St. Therese on Charity

"O Jesus, You make me understand that the chief plenary indulgence, which is within reach of everyone, and can be gained without the ordinary conditions, is that of charity, which 'covereth a multitude of sins'"

Saint Gertrude the Great Chaplet

Note: Say this chaplet using ordinary Rosary beads.

Begin with the Apostles' Creed, one Our Father, three Hail Marys
and a Glory Be to the Father just as with Our Lady's Rosary.

"ETERNAL FATHER, I OFFER THEE THE MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD
OF THY DIVINE SON, JESUS, IN UNION WITH THE MASSES SAID
THROUGHOUT THE WORLD TODAY,
FOR ALL THE HOLY SOULS IN PURGATORY,
for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church,
those in my own home and within my family. Amen."

On the five decades, say the above Prayer for the Holy Souls on each Hail Mary bead and the Our Father on each separator bead between the decades.

Chaplet of Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Note: This chaplet is recited on ordinary Rosary beads

On the large bead before the first decade,
and also on the other large beads,
the following prayer is said:

'O Mother of Perpetual Help,
Listen to our pleading souls,
You can help us in our needs,
Mary, with hope, we call on you'.

On the small beads of each decade recite:

'O Mary, help us'!

At the end of each decade pray:

'Mary has helped us,
Mary wants to help us,
Mary can help us.
Mary will help us'.

On each of the 3 beads after the 5th decade say one 'Hail Mary'
and then one 'Glory be to the Father'.

Concluding prayer

"We fly to your patronage, O Holy Mother of God.
Despise not our petitions but in our necessities,
but deliver us from all dangers,
O ever glorious and blessed Virgin Mary.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help, pray for us!"
